As an experienced leader of SEND, I have spent my career working to ensure that children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities receive the support, opportunities, and high-quality education they deserve. My focus has always been on creating an inclusive environment where every learner can thrive, while supporting staff to feel confident and empowered in meeting diverse needs.

In my current role, I work strategically to strengthen SEND provision across schools, while also supporting and developing SENCos in their pivotal role. I am passionate about equipping colleagues with the tools, training, and guidance they need, and about fostering a culture where difference is not only accepted but celebrated.

I know how rewarding and challenging the SENCo role can be, and my aim is to support colleagues in developing their practice, building confidence and feeling part of a strong, collaborative network.
