Kellogg's donation helps students start the day ready
Students across Co-op Academies Trust have been given a helping hand during exam season thanks to a generous donation from Kellogg's.
The company donated 70 boxes of cereal to every academy across the Trust, helping schools provide breakfast for students at a time when a good start to the day matters more than ever.
Whether preparing for GCSEs, SATs or everyday learning, having breakfast can make a real difference. It helps students arrive feeling ready to focus, learn and do their best.
The donation is the latest example of the positive impact that strong partnerships can have for children and young people. Working together, Kellogg's and Co-op Academies Trust are helping to remove barriers so that every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Liz Garrity, Head of Community at Co-op Academies Trust, said:
"Kellogg's have been a fantastic partner, working closely with both the Co-op and our Community team to create opportunities and support projects that make a real difference for our schools and the communities they serve. We're incredibly grateful for this donation, which comes at such an important time for our students."
Alexander Beck, Social Impact & Sustainability Advisor at Kellogg's, said:
"At Kellogg's, we know that breakfast can make a real difference - particularly during exam periods, when students need fuel to focus and perform at their best. That's why we're proud to be supporting all Co-op Academies with cereal donations throughout the exam season, helping ensure pupils can start their day right.
"This support builds on our long-standing commitment to breakfast clubs over the past 25 years, driven by our belief that every young person deserves a positive start to the day when it matters most."
The donation also reflects the shared commitment of Kellogg's, the Co-op and Co-op Academies Trust to supporting the wellbeing of children and young people, both inside and outside the classroom.
A huge thank you to Kellogg's for their generosity and for helping our students start each day ready to succeed!
