Virtual Pride Month!
June is Pride month, a time dedicated to celebrating LGBTQ+ communities all around the world. Normally there are parades and marches all over, but this year coronavirus has stopped that!
But the celebrations will continue online. Organisations have worked hard to make sure that we don’t miss out this Pride Month! It’s important to keep people connected and celebrated.
Here are a few events that are going on online for Pride Month.
28 Jun – 05 Jul, 12pm to 12pm
Amnesty International, UK Black Pride, Stonewall and ParaPride are bringing Pride celebrations inside this year with Pride Inside – an online series of gigs, comedy shows, panel discussions, and arts-based events.

Global Pride 2020
Saturday 27 June
Global Pride 2020 is a partnership between InterPride, the European Pride Organisers Association, and national Pride networks in several countries. It’s being led by a team of volunteers from every region of the world who are all committed to ensuring that everyone, everywhere, can take part in Pride this June.
Pride organisations from across the world will celebrate Global Pride 2020. With musical and artistic performances, speeches from activists and campaigners, and addresses by public figures, we will stream 24 hours of content that reflects and celebrates the beautiful diversity of LGBTI+ people everywhere.
Every Friday at 9pm
In a bid to improve life at home for LGBTQ+ people across the world, we are delighted to announce we are creating a series of online events to kick off the weekend right.
Manchester Pride: Live In Your Living Room will see four weeks of Friday night shows made up of sets from Manchester Pride Festivals 2017, 2018 and 2019, followed by four weeks of brand new performances!
The performances will be hosted on YouTube and will only be online for a limited time so viewers need to watch it live or miss out.
