We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and skilled person in the role of Theatre Manager and Community Arts Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to play an important role in the development of the new theatre facilities at the academy. We are seeking a person with a broad range of skills, including technical theatre support, theatre management/administration, in-class support (with the possibility of some teaching), community and youth theatre experience and a commitment to developing a rich programme of activities for academy students and the local community. The successful applicant will join a forward-thinking and dynamic team of teachers and support staff who are committed to developing arts provision at the academy even further.
The academy is currently undergoing an exciting and significant expansion, and at the heart of the new build project is a purpose-built theatre and new Art, Drama and Music facilities. There has never been a more exciting time to join the academy.
