We’re looking for a resilient, determined and proactive individual to join our school. They will support a wonderful pupil who has physical and learning difficulties and needs to be supported in class to develop their cognition and communication.
They love meeting new people and increasingly communicate through Makaton and verbal noise.
The correct candidate will be supported in their training by working closely with the class teacher and SENco but must also be confident to respond to change and seek out support where necessary. The reward of this role will be developing a relationship and supporting a child to be the best they can be. The correct candidate will understand this may take some time and be determined to put the pupil first.
You will understand the importance of communicating with other professionals and also the family of the pupil. You’ll do all this whilst capturing the spirit of our vision and values and whilst role-modelling exceptional professional behaviours.
We are determined to support our colleagues to develop and will incorporate CPD appropriate to the role. This is a fantastic opportunity to be rewarded by supporting the learning of a warm and kind pupil.
So, if you’re an enthusiastic and inspiring individual and have the right skills and personal attributes we would love to hear from you!
