SEN Teaching Assistant Level 2 – 1:1 support

Full Time/Fixed Term – This is a fixed term temporary contract; it is fixed term because it will cease when the child no longer  attends the Academy. 

Required from Tuesday 4th January or earlier if possible. 

The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring SEN Teaching Assistant  Level 2 to join our Academy. The role is to support a child in Key Stage 2 who has Special  Educational Needs 

We are looking for a person who: 

has experience of working in Key Stage 1 and 2 and has a strong knowledge of the  Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum 

has experience of delivering interventions to individuals and small groups understands how trauma and adverse experiences can affect children has a passion for working with children and is kind, caring and flexible is able to work on their own initiative 

has excellent communication skills 

is an inspirational role model who is highly motivated and committed to working as  part of a school team 

has high expectations and demonstrates a commitment to raising standards and  achieving the best for all our children, both academically and personally is committed to inclusion and to providing exciting and stimulating learning  opportunities for children of all abilities 

is able to form successful relationships with parents and the wider community has good verbal and written language
