The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring SEN Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our Academy. The role is to support a child in Key Stage 2 who has Special Educational Needs
We are looking for a person who:
∙ has experience of working in Key Stage 1 and 2 and has a strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum
∙ has experience of delivering interventions to individuals and small groups ∙ understands how trauma and adverse experiences can affect children ∙ has a passion for working with children and is kind, caring and flexible ∙ is able to work on their own initiative
∙ has excellent communication skills
∙ is an inspirational role model who is highly motivated and committed to working as part of a school team
∙ has high expectations and demonstrates a commitment to raising standards and achieving the best for all our children, both academically and personally ∙ is committed to inclusion and to providing exciting and stimulating learning opportunities for children of all abilities
∙ is able to form successful relationships with parents and the wider community ∙ has good verbal and written language
