We’re seeking to appoint an exceptional Safeguarding and Child Protection Lead to join the Trust, working across our existing academies and colleges in Greater Manchester, Stoke, Staffordshire and the Wirral and supporting ongoing growth in these regions.
An expert in all things Safeguarding and Child Protection, our ideal candidate will have ample experience gained within a child setting, such as schools and academies or a Local Authority, and will provide high-quality support and challenge across the full spectrum of child protection and welfare matters, ensuring that safeguarding and child protection policies, procedures and processes are effectively embedded.
Alongside an existing Regional Lead and as part of the Trust’s wider central team, the role will involve leading safeguarding and child protection work across the Trust. This includes developing relevant policies and procedures and ensuring compliance, delivering training, and leading the DSL and mental health leads networks.
And of course, you’ll do all this whilst capturing the spirit of our vision and values and whilst role-modelling exceptional professional behaviours.
As a colleague in the Trust, you’ll be joining a talented staff team, striving to deliver an outstanding working and learning experience for all. Therefore, a genuine passion for making a real difference to the lives of young people is essential.
So, if you’re an advocate for keeping children and young people safe and committed to the spirit of cooperation, then we’d be delighted to hear from you!
