We’re looking for a PA to the Principal with communication responsibilities to join our team! 

This is a wonderful opportunity to expand your skill set in a supportive, encouraging environment. This joint responsibility requires a capable, confident person to act as a Personal Assistant to the Principal and work closely with the wider Academy Leadership Team. Full training will be offered in-post for everything communications-related. The right candidate will be passionate, creative, and enthusiastic about sharing our message to a wider audience.

This post is 37 hours per week, term time only. Actual take home salary of £22,076 – £23,428.

As a Personal Assistant to the Principal you will carry out clerical and administrative duties for the Principal and, on occasion, our wider Academy Leadership team. You will be the point of contact for the Principal, dealing with all third parties and taking all calls, maintaining and updating the online diary. You will also support with HR admin tasks when required for example supporting with interview days.

As well as this you will help maintain the Academies website and over see the social media platforms, posting regularly on Twitter and Instagram showing our parents and community what there is to shout about at Priesthorpe. You will also Line Manage the front office reception team.

At the top of your game, you’ll have strong organisational and time management skills and collaborate effectively with other adults. You’ll need to be an enthusiastic team player with the ability to use initiative, work independently and stay organised. 


Co-op Academy Priesthorpe is situated in Pudsey and just 15 minutes from both Leeds and Bradford centre with places for 1250 students and 135 staff. The Academy has a very special ethos, which visitors continue to comment on.
