Support with joining the Trust
We are keen for teachers in Northern Ireland to consider joining our Trust. Transport links are good by air, and sea, to the cities where our academies are based. And we are likely to be expanding in to the region around Liverpool in the future.
The Trust will provide help to relocate to the UK, up to a value of £4,150, with the amount of support available to be agreed in advance on a case-by-case basis. Costs must be receipted and reasonably incurred, approved in advance, and incurred no later than 9 months after commencing your employment with the Trust. They might include travel & reasonable accommodation expenses (but not food & drink) for a trip to the UK to view and organise housing prior to relocation, removal costs, a contribution towards legal costs if purchasing a property, and/or the cost of one return fare home to visit family / friends.
In second year of employment the cost of one return fare home to visit family / friends, up to a maximum cost of £300 will be paid by the Trust. Beyond this, any additional recruitment & retention payments would be subject to review and approval by your academy’s Governing Body.
Rental deposit & season ticket loans
The Trust has a scheme to provide interest free rental deposit and season ticket loans, with a salary advance being given and then repaid from your salary on a monthly basis to help spread the cost. More information is available on request.
