We are looking for an exceptional candidate with the confidence and determination to uphold the academy’s high standards and act as a role model for students, promoting the academy values of fairness, ambition and respect. Excellent communication skills are essential as effective liaison between parents, staff and students is central to the role.
The main aspects of the LPSO role are:
- To be a Head of Year for a particular year group in the academy.
- To take the lead on all aspects of pastoral care for a year group including behaviour and attendance.
- To monitor the academic progress of students within a year group.
- To develop positive and professional working relationships with the families of students within a year group.
This is a key position in a supportive, vibrant and diverse academy community offering the opportunity to make a substantial contribution to our pastoral system and make a significant difference to the lives of young people in North Manchester. If you have the passion, drive and skills to develop outstanding pastoral provision for all students in our academy, we want to hear from you!
