Kitchen Unit Manager

  • Contract type - 36 hours per week, Term-time, Permanent
  • Salary range - Grade H-NJC SCP 12-22 (£21,589-£26,317) FTE

Required for the 1 September 2021, a Kitchen Unit Manager who has the skill, drive and passion to lead the catering team and deliver the highest quality of food and service.  For many years we have run a highly successful school kitchen which is a key part of our core provision.  This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our enthusiastic and hardworking team as Kitchen Unit Manager.

The successful candidate will manage the school catering team to ensure the delivery of a safe, healthy and high-quality catering service to the school, which is within budget and to customer satisfaction. This will include all aspects of food preparation, food service, kitchen and canteen hygiene and other duties associated with food service operations; as well as providing a supportive environment for the ongoing development of existing staff and trainees.

The successful candidate will have experience of catering, including Health and Safety, Hygiene requirements. A positive outlook and a willingness to be fully involved in school life is essential.
