The Headteacher and Governors of this successful and popular 11-18 co-educational, all-ability school are seeking to appoint an experienced Cover Supervisor to support teaching and learning across the Academy. Placing our students at the heart of everything we do, the successful candidate will fulfil the crucial link of curriculum continuity during teacher absence.
The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting young people learn and enjoy engaging with our students in a classroom-based role. As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise students when a teacher is absent. You will be able to quickly ascertain a positive rapport with students, to establish good learning atmospheres while assisting and supporting students when necessary. You will be part of a supportive team and duties may include being a form tutor and various administrative tasks supporting curriculum departments. You will be confident using IT, be familiar with MS Office applications and have good literacy and numeracy skills. A full induction programme will be provided to the successful candidate.
