Job description

We are seeking to appoint a Safeguarding and Child Protection Caseworker to work alongside our Designated Safeguarding Leads to promote the welfare and safeguarding of students in our forward-thinking and caring academy.

The successful candidate will be a leading member of our Child Protection Team, supporting with the implementation of our safeguarding procedures in order to ensure that we are doing all that we can to protect and safeguard our students.  They will possess excellent knowledge and experience in safeguarding young people, have the ability to provide expert advice and guidance for all stakeholders and possess superb communication skills, especially when dealing with a variety of agencies and families.

The Co-operative Academy of Manchester is the city’s most improved school and boasts a state of the art building and fantastic facilities. We are currently beginning a new and exciting phase in the academy’s development.  Our intake is increasing to 300 in each year group and a brand new school building is being built to be opened in June 2018.
