We are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, confident, self-motivated person to the position of Attendance Support Worker. The post holder will support the operation of the Academy by undertaking a wide range duties within the Attendance Team.

The successful candidate will promote excellent attendance and punctuality, reduce levels of absence and work with children and families to promote high levels of attendance. To support students in achieving to their full potential and to promote a positive attendance and punctuality culture. To undertake first day contact and home visits on a daily basis. The role involves administration and accurate record keeping.

The role is part time and ideally the hours will be 8.45 to 12.45, Monday to Friday. There is some flexibility in the hours for start- and finish times for the right candidate which can be discussed at interview.

We are looking for someone who is kind and compassionate but has relentless determination to ensure that children are kept safe and attend school. Ideally you will have experience of working with children and families within a school environment. You must have a full driving license and have daily access to a vehicle for visits, expenses are paid in line with policy.
