Based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, we’re looking to expand the capacity of our senior leadership team, so we can drive forward school improvement. The specific role and responsibilities of this Assistant Headteacher position in the leadership team will be determined by the skills, knowledge and experience of the successful candidate. The role could have a teaching and learning focus or a behaviour and personal attitudes focus, depending on the successful candidate.
The responsibilities may include:
- A teaching and learning and quality of education role may focus on research and CPD, subject reviews, quality assurance of intent and implementation documentation, department action plans and SEFs.
- A behaviour and personal development role may focus on a particular Key Stage and have some line management responsibilities for school based SEMH provision or Year Leaders.
