Assistant Finance Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join the Trust at this exciting time
as we grow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is either a qualified
accountant or part- qualified (and working towards completion), willing to continue
their professional development and who has strong financial and technical
experience. Reporting to the Regional Finance Director you will provide support to
the academies within Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire region. You will be a good
team player, a highly effective communicator, with great attention to detail and strong
IT skills.

Stoke Academy will be your base with regular travel to our primary academies within
the region.

Purpose of role:

To provide support to the finance function of the Academies within the Stoke-on-
Trent and Staffordshire region. To assist with all aspects of the development and

effective operation of financial systems and procedures. To oversee the primary
academies’ budget setting and monitoring, departmental budgets, costing activities
and development of budget profiles and to provide support with cash flow
management where required across the academies.

This will involve working with a growing number of academies across the Stoke-on-
Trent and Staffordshire area.
