We’re seeking to appoint an experienced Facilities Manager with the strategic vision, passion and commitment to lead and manage all aspects of facilities / site managements across two of our academies in Greater Manchester. Based across one of our established academies as well as managing the site of our newest secondary academy, this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to play a critical role in the successful operation of each academy and to develop their role by working across more than one location. Working collaboratively with a variety of academy and Trust colleagues as well as contractors and external partners, this key role focuses on the leadership and management of premises & facilities (including lettings) and health and safety and is integral to the effective running of operations at both sites.
The successful candidate will have a strong and proven background in facilities management and possess relevant qualifications and experience in this field, ideally having worked in one or more schools or Local Authorities. The post holder must also have excellent communication and wider interpersonal skills; confidently securing buy-in, with the ability to to both lead teams and work as a member of one effectively.
