We’re looking for an Academic Recovery Coach in English to join our team in September 2022!

As an Academic Recovery Coach you will improve student achievement in your chosen subject with particular focus on the progress of disadvantaged and SEND students. You will provide individual or small group instruction to students who are below target and monitor, report, and communicate student progress and performance. You will be having a direct impact to a young persons life that will open doors for their future!
This post would suit someone who is degree qualified in their chosen subject or are currently studying a postgraduate qualification in education or are already an experienced teacher or tutor.
This role is 32 hours per week term time only + 5 days. Actual salary (term time only and 32 hours per week): £19,093 – £20,262 + AMAZING benefits! Co-op Academy Priesthorpe is situated in Pudsey and just 15 minutes from both Leeds and Bradford centre with places for 1250 students and 135 staff. The Academy has a very special ethos, which visitors continue to comment on. All colleagues, teaching and support, are responsible for a small coaching group of students which they meet with for 1.5 hours over a week. Full training is offered and you will be buddied up with a teaching member of staff. This adds a very rewarding element to the role.
