And, whilst not a trip out, pupils at Co-op Academy Woodslee enjoyed a visit themselves from some very important four-legged friends, whilst pupils at Co-op Academy Woodlands enjoyed a visit from Wakefield poet Matt Abott who read some of his poems before helping Year 4 write their own!
Students at Co-op Academy Bebington enjoyed the sunshine at Port Sunlight as they carried out work towards their World Studies and Independent Living topics.
Co-op Academy Walkden students have also been very busy this week. As well as enjoying taster sessions at colleges in the area, they have also been smasing their Duke of Edinburgh assessments.
Year 9 students at Co-op Academy Walkden took the short trip to Bolton – to receive an award from the Mayor! The students came top in the North West Manchester Science and Technology Challenge Day!
Whilst students at Co-op Academy North Manchester may not have left their academy, they did travel upwards a fair distance as they took on the climbing wall as part of National School Sports Week.
To round off an incredible week for our academies, students at Co-op Academy Manchester travelled near and far as they visited the Science and Industry Museum as part of their Year 10 work placements. They also hit the road and headed for London, where they only went and won the Sustainable Futures Innovation Challenge!
