Managing Workload in Education
Frank Norris and Caroline Foster were recognised by the Department for Education for their collaborative approach to tackling staff workload. Frank is a former Senior HMI and now CEO of Co-op Academies Trust. Caroline is Vice-Principal at Co-op Academy Leeds. They’ll be talking through their transparent and democratic approach and how workload is a key focus of the new Ofsted framework.
What to look for when considering academisation
Stan Johnson has been involved in the education of children and young people for over forty years as a teacher, deputy headteacher, headteacher, school adviser, local authority senior manager and Ofsted inspector. He now supports school improvement and leadership development through his own company, Athena Education Ltd. He works alongside education leaders and support them through the improvement process, coaching and mentoring, advising, and providing insights into their organisation’s effectiveness and culture. Athena Education Ltd also supports leaders of schools, academies and multi academy trusts in their efforts to provide the very best opportunities for the children and young people in their care.
What is a Co-operative Education?
Nick Lowry, Principal, Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent and Lindsey Wilmer, Headteacher, Co-op Academy Friarswood talk about their journey through academisation and differences that a co-operative education can make in all schools and academies.
