Patsy Kane OBE
Patsy Kane has served in education for thirty eight years. She became head of Whalley Range 11-18 High School in 2007 and then Executive Head of the Education and Leadership Trust, a cooperative Multi Academy Trust in Manchester, in 2014.
Patsy has served on ASCL Council for nine years, chairing the Curriculum and Assessment committee and ending as Membership Secretary.
Patsy is passionately committed to empowering young people to be the leaders of the future and to promoting equality, equity and respect. Patsy was awarded an OBE for service to education in the New Year’s Honours List in 2019.
